Read barcode / transponder
With this function, the data (GS1 compliant) of a barcode or an RFID transponder can be read. The data is sent via Bluetooth to a computer and can be viewed there.
Procedure
The button to use this function can be set in the configuration.
By default, the lower right button (F1) is used.
The device must be switched on. A Bluetooth connection to a PC must be established. Open a simple text program on the PC. The read data will then be written directly into it.
Press and release the configured button. The yellow LED will light up and a short bright tone will sound.
First the device tries to read an RFID transponder. If, after a short time, no transponder is found, the barcode scanner is activated. As soon as one of them is detected, the data is sent to the PC.
If no transponder or barcode is found, or if the data is not GS1 compliant, this is signaled with three consecutive tones.
